Gov Stone Update for Deborah

Deb,
The phone number for Governor Stone volunteers was in the paper last Sunday so I gave them a call. It turned out to be a fax line somewhere in Seagrove Beach. I sent a fax expressing interest: however, no one has seen fit to call me back. Twice today I called the Eden State Park but only got a recording both times. I left a message. I guess they don't need help very bad or they would answer the phones?
This is a bit of a disappointment as she looks like a worth while project. I have been in contact with the local paper regarding the boat. As you know they did a short bit on her when the State gave her to the park. If I don't hear back from these Eden folks in a couple of weeks I will call the paper back and see if they can track this down. Damned funny to advertise for help every week and then never call it back. It is too early to speculate I guess......
