Self tacking jibs

Report: outside forum guidelines

I increased the length of mine to go the full length of the jib foot and then some. The boat is much more stable and holds her course much better on any point of sail. She is much more difficult to tack however. She will come through the wind but then want to round back up when the rudder is eased. I am mot loosening the jib sheet as was the method with the short club. Falling off or turning from close hauled it doesn't seem make any diffrence. Ideas, opinions? Help please. Plus, we needed a new message on here.
