I have owned a Thistle, Venture 23 of Newport, Ericson 32 and Pearson 365 ketch. Far and above all, I have enjoyed my 24' catboat with gaff main. It is far easier to sail. Of course, once you settle on not having to change headsails and use multi speed winchs in becomes even more enjoyable.
