Aye to that Craig, This has been an interesting summer. I have been on the water only a few times, as I made a deceision to sell my boat while I am fitting out a lodge on Lake Michigan. I miss cruising/sailing terribly and have had oppurtunities to go with friends, even the sailor that purchased my boat wanted to take me out, but the timing was never right and so here I sit, with dreams and a lodge. I have applied for a mooring field through the DEQ which if approved will be installed next year. I saw an awesome vessel at the harbor of Leland MI a few days ago. It is an Irwin 36. Not for sale, but on checking with the http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/yw_advanced_search_form.jsp web site, I found many readily available on the market. What are some of the common gaff rigged sailing vessel names? In order to do a search, I need the boat or manufacturer name. Again, Thanks!
