The topmast is detachable. It rests in a socket in a plate surrounding the top of the mast functioning like a fid. About 16” up to the top of the mast is another mount plate with a hole that the topmast slides through. The spreaders can be mounted on the mast above the mounts, on the topmast between the mounts, or bolted to the upper detachable mount itself. The spreaders will be ~20” long made of fir. A one piece unit going across one of the plates is also possible. What is my best option for this in terms of spreader configuration and mounting method? Thanks for you assistance.
