This is a hank-on head sail for a Catalina 27 tall rig, in excellent condition. It has been used a half-zozen times and kept in its original bag, which comes with the sail. I have freshly washed it, both sides, and air dried it in the warm North Carolina sun, folding it rightly and is is waiting for its new owner. Send me a note for the exact dimensions (I forgot to measure before I folded, and will need to unfold it, which I will do later this week anyway, and post here). On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being brand new, this sail is a 4. No exaggeration. It is a huge sail, a 170. No rips, tears, broken threads, repairs, wear points. It is in excellent condition. The bronze hanks are in perfect working order. The clew is especially constructed with a thimble extension to elevate the corner from the deck, and thus reduce or rather eliminate wear on the sail foot as you tack. I have many pictures I can send you, just let me know. It's a great sail for light wind, and you could even have a good sailmaker put an inexpensive set of reef points in it for more versatile use for a greater range of wind conditions. E-mail me at sailing@christinariley.com for questions. I'm located in eastern NC.
