I think that your theory is correct. I have a 6.2 which is stored in the cold every year. I've drilled 1/4 inch holes through several blisters. They do drain, but very slowly. Just about the time you think it's time to epoxy the hole another bit of water comes out. I've used a vacumn cleaner to apply suction to help the water migration. It's a tedious process. Sometimes in frustration as the boating season gets too close, I'll use an epoxy that cures underwater just to get launched. cb
