Thank you, Tedd. Pleased to hear the info was helpful. As for the templates, let me think it over. I'll be in Atlanta this week at the largest woodworking show in North America and will consider it. (BTW, roaming this show is like being let loose in a candy store. Everything from CNC machines to home shop tools are there. Ya know, now that I think about it, a CNC would be perfect for making the templates. Hmmmmm.......Nevermind) Instead of wood templates, maybe paper templates. Again, let me think about it.
To give you a better idea of expenses, here's more detail: Solid wood: $250, Plywood: $135, Varnish: $60, Screws: $50, Misc: $25. How it will look when finished...priceless.
