Spreader Bracket question 4.6

Report: outside forum guidelines

I'm assuming that the spreaders should be oriented at right angles to the mast (parallel to the water). Both of mine are angled upwards at @ 15 degrees. Is this correct or have the spreader bracket arms gotten bent? The shrouds have straight runs from top to chainplates with no tension apparent on the spreader tips.

Thanks

MikeL
