I was wondering if anyone else has faced this issue.......my bow eye is being worn away. I keep my 5.2 on a mooring in a lake in Maine - Thompson if anyone is interesed. Over the corse of the last 6 years I have moored it out there the bow eye has slowly been worn away by the action of the pennant hook (SS) on the fitting (Bronze with chrome coating). It has finally gotten worn enough that I will need to look to replace it. Does anyone know of a replacement part and how to prevent it in the future. Thanks.
