It works. I finally got to test sail my revised purchase system and it performed very well. The turning blocks at the mast step must be individually anchored to function properly. I tied them to the pad eye on the forward end of the centerboard well and crossed them over to the oposite side (keeps them from sliding off when slacked) and tied them in behind the hiking strap forward lines to keep them from uncrossing. Here is a pic.
