I'm having a hard time believing the number on my sail matches my HIN just by coincidence. What I am wondering now is whether someone may have added the sail numbers after purchase of the boat, and used the HIN to do so, when they should have used the stencil number.

Anybody know if the boats (in general) came with or without numbers on the mainsail when new, as standard equipment?
