Harpoon documentation only shows how to do the "Jiffy Reefing" which does not involve the reef points on the sail(s), nor does it say to use the cunningham for the Jiffy Reefing, (thanks to someone who added that in the forum notes.) ... I have reef points on both the main(4 additional)and jib, North Sails, don't know if they are original ... probably though.
Can anybody suggest anything other than the obvous of keeping a few hunks of line handy to lash the sail to the boom? Seems simple enough, in the category of "well duh", or is there some cleverness out there? I only have expience with roller reefing or none.
