so I never worry about trying to bundle up the baggy part at the bottom. The clew reefing line works pretty much the same as the outhaul, only backwards. If you do have a full set of points, just remember not to tie it up too tightly--it's just about containing the bagginess, not about pulling the remaining part of the sail down to the boom. Also remember to release the boom vang before reefing. I also tie a stopper knot of some sort in both the reefing lines in case they slip in the clam cleats, which they sometimes do, and bundle up the loose end of the clew reefing line so it can't get caught on the seat during a tack, which is non-pretty.
