In Response To: Anyone tried a Storm Jib (Chris Harlan)

Chris: I added another set of reef points. The originals cut the sail down about 15% and flatten it (very important) to depower it. My new reef points and ties reduce the sail a total of 40%. Using 3 1/2" bungees to hold the boom, I can be quite comfortable even though the wind is whistling across the shrouds with 30 mph gusts. Instead of heading home, we head out! Sometime, when I can get digital, I shall try to send you some pictures. Steve
