As you get to know your boat, you'll find that you get more boat speed by sitting a bit further forward - especially when single handing... unless, of course, you are on a plane in which case you do indeed want to shift the weight back toward the transom.
The 4.6 is even more sensitive to lateral weight distribution than the 5.2 as a result of (1) the different (plum) transom shape and (2) being significantly lighter overall.
