but Fearless and I had fun, and I think my crew did, too, although one is approaching teenagerhood so it's kind of hard to tell. Much more wind than yesterday, but another beautiful sunny day. Pretty decent turnout, I think, given that some of the big boats pulled out for the season before the lake level got to where they couldn't. Still, we had remarkably few near-collisions, which was nice since I was nervous just about keeping the boat pointy side up and the rig intact (boy, was she ever making her squeaky noise). Wimped out on using the spinnaker, though. Thought about it pretty hard in the second race but then one of the keelboats ahead broached and I thought better of it. Given how many times the spin halyard was wrapped around the topping lift (as I discovered when I got ready to drop the mast), it was probably all for the best.
