Question On Spinnaker

I have owned a Harpoon 5.2 for about 7 years and have sailed it extensively, though this is my first time to this forum. I have fitted the boat with a roller reefing system and am now fitting an asymmetric spinnaker. I have a question for those of you that have experience flying the symmetric spinnaker this boat came with. After the sheet is led back through the block at the back of the hull, does it just run forward to the crew, or was a block installed behind the jib leads? Does the crew face backwards on this boat when trimming?
