The spinnaker blocks on my boat are the same exact type as the jib sheet blocks. If you follow the Whaler documentation, they should be located based on the attached blueprint document. The "hull" number they refer in the blueprint is NOT the HID number found on the metal tag on the outside of the transom, it refers to the 5.2 hull/sail number stenciled on the inside of the transom. It appears that for boats with hull/sail numbers 812 and later the blocks should be mounted fully between 100" and 103" from the aft most part of the boat. For numbers 811 and lower they should be mounted between 92 1/2" and 85 3/4" from the aft most point (Because that is where the wood supports are.) This drawing appear to show the dimensions on a curved line, the original does not. The difference is actually minor so don't let anyone get into an academic argument about it. You can easily find a mounting spot between the end points of the boards that satisfies both measurement method if you choose.
