Jay. I appreciate the single handing recommendations as well. I have been releasing the sheets, but not the halyards for righting; however I hadn't paid any attention to the orientation of the bow to the wind. I will give it prominence. That was my idea for the sea anchor (or drogue). It should not go to the bottom. It is a small nylon parachute that will drag in the water and, if attached by a line to the bow, keep it pointed into the wind, with a light line attached to the center to collapse it for retrevial when no longer needed. They are made for larger offshore vessels, but I may have to fab my own. The smallest I could find in West Marine was for a boat displacing ten times what my 4.6 does.
I did see the rope loop trick that was suggeted for reboarding over the transom, but I haven't gotten the position of my loop perfected yet and am still struggling to get in.
