Well, I'm no professional rigger, but I can tell you that I'm a firm believer in the KISS principle. The fork on your shroud bent for some reason. In fifteen years owning this boat, I've never had any issues with the original shrouds on my boat as I've described: never bent one, never adjusted one, never had one break. I know that one can adjust shrouds to achieve effects on helm balance and maybe there are some fanatics that do this fairly often, but I haven't found the need. I just set 'em for comfortable helm balance and forget 'em (except to check for rust and wear!)

If it were me, I'd replace what you have there. You might be able to re-bend that back, but do you want to take a chance of losing your rig overboard?!
