Stuck centerboard

In Response To: Centerboard stuck (robert #404)

I once got my centerboard unstuck by taking the boat to the car wash and used the high pressure soaping setting to both wash the mud, gravel, etc. out of the well as well as the soap lubricating the area. Once I had the board down I went over it with fairly fine sand paper to remove the scratches.
