(Jenny, Harpoon 5.2) I tried to find as much of the sailor's jargon in my "Sailing for Dummies" book. I hadn't gotten to 'chainplate' yet. And, yes, it's what stripped from the hull. The crack is from some minor impact. It doesn't look like enough to take on water. I was wondering if there's a way to repair it before it gets worse. Thanks!
