I have sailed and raced a Bucaneer since 1980 and now have a harpoon. My old chrysler Bucc lost a spar and we droped the mast. They are a fast boat a little more tipsy than the Harpoon but not much worse to sail. You will have a great time and get use to how she feels in no time. The harpoon is a very stable boat. The Buccaneer wants to get up on a plan and get going. If you have any questions feel free to write me. Great boat but get use to Hiking out!
