Date: 7/22/07 7:32p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: hoisting mainsail (Greg Sava) Here you can see the slugs and their spacing on the main: You can see the topping lift and the main dropped in this shot This rig makes it really easy to raise and drop the main without feeding the bolt through the mast - or having the whole sail dump into the main when you go to drop it.
