I have sailed my 5.2 on Lady Bird also. Managed to avoid the shoals at Joe's Crab shack and crossed under the Congress Bridge arches. I also opted not to try the First Street bridge, but I think I might try the Hyatt watering hole next time. Have also eyed the Interstate 35 bridge, but with a prevailing south wind, it would be hard to navigate 8 lanes of bridge. Not sure about the height either, but would be interested if you find out. Sailing on the East side toward Longhorn Dam would be nice. Hope to see you there one day . . .
