Posted By: Gene Bragalone - #485/5.2 Date: 9/22/07 3:36p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: Unplug your trailer lights (Larry Condra) Foreign to me! I have been lucky I guess by always using dunkable lights (a.k.a. submersible). I have never unplugged them, on a number of trailers over a 30 year period. I now have the LED version and have no plans to disconnect these either. Of course I have never launched on salt water, so don't know if that is different. I guess it is better to be safe than sorry, but I sorta get a kick out of seeing the lights on under water
