First Day on the Water w/my 5.2

Report: outside forum guidelines

Two years ago, I bought a 1978 Boston Whaler Harpoon 5.2 from under a tree next to some guys house.
After a new trailer, replacing the marine plywood seats with Starboard, lots of sanding, new bottom paint, some fiberglass work, new ropes, and lots of wishing I was sailing...
I took her out today in Islamorada Florida.
It was one of the best days I've had in a long long time. The water was warm, clear, and sparkling with sunshine.
I had so much fun!
There's a lot more work ahead of me, but at least I'm out sailing.
