In Response To: Motor Mount (Bob V)

Most people don't know that there is only wood on the port side for the motor mount and it's not something you would think is logical, but that's the way it is.

The right side is a sandwich of foam between two sections of fiberglass/gelcoat.

If yours is on the starboard side of the boat, I'd make sure that it's either through-bolted or anchored in there with some serious toggle bolts or similar.

Four bolts of either type are a hell of alot cheaper than any motor!
