Hi Jenny, three or four people mentioned you, that is they mentioned the "woman in Austin that races these things" I'm guessing that's you. As far as sleeping I just used an old boat seat cushion about 4'long along with a throwable flotation cushion under an inflatable pool floating mattress laid along side the center case. I've got the thwart removed, having topped the centercase with one continuous piece of wood (lyptus) so there is plenty of room. My plan is to reinstall the thwart as a 2 piece removable unit. I'd also like to make the cuddy removable.
