I've been down under there reinstalling the hiking straps, and it is a bit claustrophobic. Seems like it ought to be possible to make the cuddy removable, and that would be a nice feature. I like having mine as far as having a covered place to stow stuff, both while sailing and while trailering, but it does seem like it would be easier to launch and retrieve a spinnaker without it.
