So far there are only two registrants for the Harpoon Regatta - myself and one other. This event is really alot of fun and I can't imagine that there are many of you that wouldn't enjoy a break from the miserable winter we're having. I've traveled 1100 miles from Indiana for 5 consecutive years, with boat in tow, so it is worth it. The regatta is open to everyone and is suitable for everyone. You don't have to be a rock star racer to do well or have fun. You really don't even have to know much about racing. And you don't even have to race at all. Just show off your boat or come to look at others! Come on down! The regatta can only be successful and fun if we have boats, competitors, and even just fun-loving folks. Wayne, how many OSC members (or others) do you know that are participating that have not officially registered? Perhaps you could get them to register on the site so that other don't think that the event is too small to bother with.
