Florida Keys cruise

I am planning a cruise in February in and around the central Keys. The tentative plan at this point is that I will trailer our boat down from Canada to Florida in mid-January when I get a good weather window. I will launch the boat just north of West Palm Beach to do a little sailing with my brother who lives in the area. The Admiral will fly down in mid-February to Miami. We will take in the Strictly Sail Boat Show and then head south for 3 weeks of sailing and relaxing, she will fly back at that point and I will stay until mid-March or so depending on weather and other considerations. I am wondering if anyone else will be in the area at this time so we could plan a MacGregor outing ? Perhaps the Mac club in Miami has a weekend planned during that time ? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I plan to reserve a slip for at least a week to begin with and then see if I want to stay in the same place, anchor out or move around each night. We are Canadians so swimming and snorkeling is not a problem for us at this time of year. Bob
