From taking off the old portlights to new ones in place took me a day of off and on work (waiting for the epoxy to kick off). Two days later (not long enough) I put a coat of latex paint on to protect the epoxy from sunlight and loaded up the boat for a trip to Florida. A couple of months later, I went back over everything and smoothed it and then painted with the interlux topside paint I mentioned. In this picture you can see a difference primarily created by the shininess of the paint relative to the fiberglass.
