Nelson, we towed and lanched and had a great time-that said, for the last 5 or 6 years we have had a slip which for us runs from April 1st until the end of October. Simply put we sail more now. Friday after work its nice to head for the lake and if its early take the boat out, if late camp out on the boat, have breckfast at the marina restraunt or if the wind is blowing head out before breckfast. With even 30 minute to lanch I know we would wait till morning to head for the lake and miss those greaT sleeps on the water. The great part of having a Mac is you can pull it out of the slip and visit other sailing spots with relative ease. I have also noticed that the bigger boats don't tend to go out when the wind is up due to not wanting to fight the wind getting back in the slip, but the Mac is light enough you can usually put it in (although I have hit the dock harder than I want to admit on occasion). The important thing is to SAIL SAIL SAIL
