Just pulled my boat in November. I'm very new to sailing and boating in general. I have a V222 and sailed it last year as a trailer sailer. After spending a 5 day sail in Desolation Sound (BC) I got the 26D. Used a slip.
The one thing nice about trailering is it requires, in my newbee opinion, less boat handling. To get in and out of your slip requires some skill.
Next year I will trailer and get better at my short game around the dock. I'm sure the guys that always seem to show-up with their boat hooks when the hear my outboard start can relax a bit.
