MacGregor 26S Mainsail

Report: outside forum guidelines

I have a mainsail question regarding my Mac 26S. My mainsail has a crease that runs from about 1/4 up the mast, aft and downwards to about 1/3 down the boom. So, it runs aft. It almost looks like the battens are weighing down the sail and causing a sag. Wondering if my mainsail is blown out. I can't hoise it any higher up the mast, tried and it's all the way up. Can't clamp down on the cunningham. To help picture it, it's like a hand would have to pull up and back on the top third of the roach to remove/pull the sag out.

Would anyone have any ideas or had this problem on their mainsail?

Thanks, Kevin B. Katy, Texas
