Hey Francois,
Thanks for the compliment. I painted it myself last Fall after buying it, upgraded from a Mac 21 to 26S. I used sanded, primed with Interlux's Pre-Kote, then rolled and tipped with Interlux's Brightside (3 coats = 1 gal) and did it all in 4-5 days. It scratches easy and gives me strokes every time I nick it on a dock, BUT it touches up so easy! Any scratch can easily be touched up with leftover paint. After painting, I bought a used Edson pedestal off e-Bay and converted it to wheel steering. Now my wife and young daughters can easily take the helm while I play "bowman" or put out fires! I really love it because it's unique and have enjoyed the wheel steering.
