In Response To: hull damage (parrothead072, Mac 26s, Montgomery,AL)

Just smooth it with fairing compound and finish with barrier coat and bottom paint.

If you don't intend to use antifouling on the hull (ie will never be in the water more than a couple days, then you could just paint or gelcoat the faired surface to match.
