Are there a separate dodger and pop-top cover zipped together?
In any case, $4000 seems pretty far out of range for boats that are worth about twice that much.
And on second glance, maybe it is a bit over-engineered. I'd have no desire to use this system underway, so the 2-bow dodger that's integrated into the cover, is really not needed. For our poor man's version now what we do now is to clip the mainsheet over to a stanchion to get it out of the way and then stretch a blue tarp (folded to get the right size) from the back of the bimini to the front of the pop top cover. If you had a canvas pop-top cover and a canvas panel that zipped between that and the leading edge of the bimini, I don't think you'd really need the framework (which would make it all easier to stow as well).
I suppose at some point, I'll end up pulling the vinyl pop-top cover apart for a pattern, hauling out the sewing machine, and reproducing it in sunbrella to match the bimini. Or keep using the old pop-top cover and the blue tarp
