New Owner MacGregor 23 Venture Newport

I just acquired a 1974 23 foot MacGregor Newport that appears to be in reasonable shape. It's on a trailer and has all sails and even came with a 9.9 Evenrude outboard. O! by the way it cost me $1.00! I have always been a power boater but I fell in love with the lines of this boat and wanted a project. First question is how is the best way to get it off the trailer and how high do I have to block it up to get the keel out? (I have taken power boats off trailers but they didn't have a keel hanging down) I think I found the specs that say the keel is 500 lbs. How do you get it back in after you get it out? Any help and advice will be very healpful. Thanks, Bill in Virginia
