Mac 23 Help

What type of paint should I use on the inside of the boat that is not fabric covered or finish gel coated?
Where was the battery located on the Mac 23, mine did not have one when I got the boat? The interior was taken out but came with the boat.
It appears there is a puley assembly that goes on top of the mast, at least I think that's where it goes, mine has a aluminimum cap bolted to it that fits into the mast but it is broken where the bolt went thru it on both sides. Question: what is this assmbly called and can I get a replacement "cap" or can I purchase a complete assembly?
Where can I get parts for a 1974 Mac 23? Also need manual to see the rigging details.
As you probably have figured out I don't have a clue about sail boats, but I am good at restoring things. I live in Virginia near Williamsburg and would love to go look at a completed Mac 23. Thanks, Bill Talbot billtalbot568@netzero.com
