and you have a sturdy tree branch it is easy. Just hoist the bow using the bow ring and a couple come-alongs to lift the boat after blocking the stern as high as you can. Otherwise build a scaffold as you can see at http://community.webshots.com/user/griffinaero2 . I do not recommend blocking the bow anymore after dealing with that alternative. Roll your trailer out from under and have at it. Once your boat is up in the air, you can not only re-do everything on the trailer, you have virtually the whole hull and keel access to do EVERYTHING! (By the way, I hope you old-timers don't get tired of my touting my old stuff...I just feel it might let some newcomer get some ideas easier....)
