New Mac 25 in Buffalo, NY

Hello
Love this resource filled with bits and pieces of information that has taught me a lot since I started reading the postings on this forum.
I purchased a Mac 25 at the indirect advice of people in this forum and similar and feel that I am ready to go keel deep into this intriguing new world.
That being said, I would appreciate some help, mostly with the actual rigging of the sails for the first time.
Is there an actual diagram of what goes where? I have downloaded the original manual and it had a lot of info about everything but it seems.
Another area I am interested in is the obvious things that may make sailing easier like running the jib sheets to the rear, etc.
Links to appropriate postings would be helpful (the search only yielded mediocre results). Someone in this area who would be willing to help this "new salt" would be even better, and would reap the countless rewards I have to offer (countless = food, friendship). lol
One last thing... why didn't my boat come w/ a sink/counter thing and am I crazy, or have I seen photos online of this boat w/ a steering wheel?
