On my '76 Venture (Mac) 25, the sink is built in. You can build a new slider or just go without it. I like your setup better because I like to determine storage and ofter cook in the cockpit area. I you saw one with wheel steering, it was added. Most prefer the tiller and it saves space. Does your rudder kick up or all one piece? Be sure to check your keel cable and winch and also keel pivot bolt.
