for taking the time to explain what you couldn't show me. I'm pretty sure I got the picture in my mind's eye. I'm using 2 each 1" x 6" composite 'boards' that get used around here as decking or raised walkways over park areas that get turned into swamp durring the rainy season (which just started a few days ago). In fact a nice little afternoon thunderstorm is rolling over as I type this, otherwise I'd probably be out loading the boat for this weekends departure and 2 weeks in the Keys. I think Elaine and I well come back with great stories and an overwhelming 2 thumbs up to the 'new' seating. Thanks again, and I will post photos of the finished product. Ron
