I jogged over to home depot today and picked up some stainless links good for 1200 lbs. working load. 150 lb aluminum shackles - - 99 cents each 1200 lb ss links - $5 each or a total of $20 peace of mind - - - well, yeh, still 20 bucks!! Excellent discussion, group. Fair winds, Nelson Amen (photo not from B.E.E.R., but Canyon Lake on Sunday. Maybe next year ....)
