Forward hatch leaking!

Anyone have problems with their forward hatch leaking on a 26S? The gasket came loose in a few spots and I re-attached it using a silicon glue. It seems to be coming in from the hinged side...like the water is filling up the recessed area around the hatch and making its way in. It's not alot. Just enough to cause waterboarding torture for anyone sleeping in the V-berth.
