I read all the posts, and saw all the pics of the terrible work done to your boat. Indeed some of those examples of poor workmanship is downright shocking. Sounds like they had a very inexperienced person working on your boat, and no one checked the work.
While apparently there are many satisfied customers who have purchased new boats from KH Marine, unfortunately this reflects very badly upon KH Marine. I hope following this unfortunate case, KH has implement some additional quality checks into their operation.
Macgregor should take note as well! This sort of thing, even though the factory had nothing to do with it, can tend to reflect badly upon the line of boats, fostering an overall reputation of poor workmanship. I believe Macgregor has a responsibility to ensure dealers maintain a certain level of workmanship when they install options, since the dealers in a way represent Macgregor when they sell their boats.
