Heads up on the wood in the keel. I have a Venture 17. The original fiberglass cracked over the years & the wood swelled up because of the water, preventing me from lowering the keel. I removed the keel from the oat & it's in the garage now. I ripped out the wood & replaced it with a tubular steel frame and some filler. Getting ready to re glass it. If you're at a spot where you can replace the wood I'd recommend it.
